Erin Kane is a native of Chicagoland who writes fiction for herself and well-researched non-fiction for others. She is a progressive, a birthmother, and a news junkie who is passionate about feminism, pop culture, and civil and human rights. She enjoys The Blues Brothers, the Blackhawks, and Beyonce. She received her MA in Social Justice and Community Development and her BAs in Anthropology, International Studies, and Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
